Title: "Fluttering" graphics on Windows 7 download from GOG

Hi,

I've been playing an ebay bought disc version of SMAC on a Vista-running laptop, and I tried installing Alien Crossfire (also bought the original) but couldn't get it to work. Finally, I figured, for $6 I'll download the GOG version (Planetary Pack) to my desktop (Windows 7). I did so, but neither game runs correctly. The graphics "flutter" every time you move the mouse, and much of the time when  you don't. By the time you're setting up the game, it's unplayable and you have to exit.

GOG offered suggestions of downloading graphics drivers and running as administrator, but no luck. There are so many patches, and I feel like I remember seeing a list of how to install from GOG (including any necessary patches) but now I can't find it. Plus, I don't remember seeing anyone describe issues like these.
