Title: Music -What Songs Are You Listening To?
Post by: Flux on January 05, 2015, 03:17:04 am
Fairly self-explanatory.
Take a look into peoples personality and soul by finding out their music interest. Or just watch them kill their reputation with some dorky song.
Like me.
TBH I am listening to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KjdV9a4Ie8 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KjdV9a4Ie8#ws)

Usually while working I listen to Rockradio dot com, mainly Power Metal playlist  :)
At home I have no much time for listening music, and I really doubt that my wife and my 1,5-year daughter will like power metal... :D

In the headphones while playing SMAX: EDM or Trance Euphoria on Live365.com (whichever sounds better to me atm). If they are boring, I listen to a variety from Fleetwood Mac to Enigma or throw in some Vivaldi.

Ah, thanks.
Seeing that appear makes me much more reluctant to post what I'm actually listening to. Still, nice remix of an old song.

I feel like the official retro of AC2 right now.
I'm beginnning to become so much of one that I'm becoming more used to Synthesizer music than actual CD-Quality instruments in music.
(Did I actually just say CD quality?)
Either way, Sonic 3 & Knuckles has a real kick-butt soundrack.

-Also gonna get this stickied. Still need 1.3K-ish EC first.

Hard rock at it's finest, ladies and gentlemen.
The only rock I listen to is from old Sonic games, but you should expect that much of me by now.

Halloween festivities kick off tomorrow.

This song for most my life has rather been synonymous with such festivities.  hEt was rather shocked when I got the album 2 years ago, it's really not what one would expect from me, but it's more mood music than anything else.  It's in a playlist of music you typically hear waiting in line at a haunted attraction.

A song on my musical play list includes The Almanac Singers' cover in 1941 of Florence Reece's "Which Side Are You On?" from 1931. Florence Reece allegedly wrote the song after armed corporate security invaded Sam Reece and Florence Reece's home and attempted intimidation of the Reece's family for their support of unions in Harlan County, Kentucky.

The Almanac Singers' cover of "Which Side Are You On" states:

They say in Harlan County,
There are no neutrals there.
You'll either be a union man,
Or a thug for J.H. Blair. (13-16)

The above lines resonate with certain circumstances in the present day.

The link below provides a full version of the Almanac Singers' cover on "Which Side Are You On?"
